FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. (Dec. 3, 2021) – Emergency personnel responded to an incident at the Fort Leonard Wood Main Exchange at approximately 10:08 a.m. today after a physical altercation was reported.

The subject fled the scene and was apprehended by Fort Leonard Wood law enforcement on Missouri Avenue, while traveling in the direction of the North Gate.

The victim was transported by ambulance to the General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital and is being treated for non-life threatening injuries, according to GLWACH personnel.

The incident is under investigation by the Army’s Criminal Investigation Division and Fort Leonard Wood’s Directorate of Emergency Services.
