FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. (Aug. 23, 2018) –Maj. Gen. Kent Savre, Maneuver Support Center of Excellence and Fort Leonard Wood commanding general is scheduled to retire Monday after 34 years of service to the United States Army.

A retirement ceremony to recognize Savre’s service to Fort Leonard Wood and the U.S. Army will be held at 4 p.m. Aug. 27 on the MSCoE Plaza.

Those planning to attend the retirement ceremony should plan ahead for road closures at First Street from Missouri to Nebraska avenues, to include MSCoE Loop and Illinois Avenue, which will be closed Monday from 3:45 p.m. until the ceremony is complete.
