Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. (June 1, 2018) – The 1st Engineer Brigade at Fort Leonard Wood will host a change-of-responsibility ceremony at 1 p.m. June 11 at Nutter Field House.

During the ceremony, Command Sgt. Maj. Jerimiah Gan will transfer responsibilities as the brigade’s command sergeant major to Command Sgt. Maj. Robert Ferguson II.

Gan heads to the U.S. Army Training Center at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.

Ferguson comes to Fort Leonard Wood from the 4th Engineer Battalion, at Fort Carson, Colorado.

In combination with the change of responsibility, the brigade plans to hold a cake-cutting ceremony at noon at Nutter Field House that day.

The 1st Engineer Brigade trains and develops engineer Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines, and prepares engineer units for full spectrum operations.
