FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. (June 3, 2022) The U.S. Army Chemical Corps will hold its annual Regimental Week here from June 4 through 11.

Hosted by U.S. Army Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear School Commandant Col. Sean Crockett, this year’s celebration marks the corps’ 104th anniversary.

“We worked full steam ahead to plan numerous events that will bring Dragon Soldiers and senior leaders together to discuss modernization efforts, pay tribute to our fallen CBRN warriors, recognize excellence within our corps and, as always, celebrate our 104-year history of support to our nation,” Crockett said. “I trust that Dragon Soldiers and CBRN units around the globe will find ways to celebrate at their home station if unable to join us at Fort Leonard Wood.”

This year’s events include:

5K run, Saturday: The week-long celebration kicks off with a 5K run beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Grove. This event is open to individuals with access to Fort Leonard Wood.

Chemical Corps Regimental Association 2022 CBRN Exhibition, Tuesday and Wednesday: The two-day industry exhibition featuring more than 30 vendors will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday at Nutter Field House. This event is open to individuals with access to Fort Leonard Wood.

Honor to Our Fallen Sunrise Service, June 9: The service begins at 6 a.m. at Memorial Grove. The event will be livestreamed on the USACBRNS Facebook page. This event is open to individuals with access to Fort Leonard Wood.

Chemical Corps regimental run, June 10: The event begins at 5:30 a.m. on Gammon Field, and will be livestreamed on the USACBRNS Facebook page.

State of the Regiment, Sibert Awards and Regimental Honors Ceremony, June 10: The State of the Regiment begins at 9 a.m. at Lincoln Hall Auditorium, followed by the Sibert Awards ceremony at 9:45 a.m. The Regimental Honors Ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m. All will be livestreamed on the USACBRNS Facebook page.

The Green Dragon Ball, June 10 (by invitation only): The ball begins at 6 p.m. at Nutter Field House. Cost is $50 per person and dress is formal attire. RSVP here.

CCRA golf tournament, June 11: Registration begins at 7 a.m., followed by tee-off at 8 a.m. at Piney Valley Golf Course.  Cost is $60 per person. This event is open to individuals with access to Fort Leonard Wood.
