FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. (Dec. 20, 2018) — This week more than 5,500 U.S. Army Soldiers in Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Leonard Wood are heading home for the holidays as part of the Holiday Block Leave program.

During this time, trainees and drill sergeants alike will take a break from training to enjoy the holiday season before the new year kicks off.
