FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. (Jan. 9, 2024) — Due to inclement weather, an early, staggered release for non-mission essential personnel is authorized for Tuesday, Jan. 9.
Unscheduled leave policy is in effect and maximum teleworking if eligible today. If you have questions, please contact your immediate supervisor.
Supervisors are encouraged to manage early release with the following guidance beginning at 11:00 a.m. today:
11:00 a.m., personnel who reside 30 miles or more from Fort Leonard Wood
11:30 a.m., personnel who reside 20 miles or more from Fort Leonard Wood
12:00 p.m., personnel who reside 10 to 19 miles from Fort Leonard Wood
12:30 p.m., personnel who reside less than 10 miles from Fort Leonard Wood
1:00 p.m., personnel who reside on the installation.
Child Development Centers and School Age Services will close at 1:30 p.m. (30 minutes after the last release). All other MWR facilities to include fitness centers will close at 11:30 a.m. today. Check the MWR web pages www.leonardwood.armymwr.com/ and www.facebook.com/mwr.ftwood for details.
Appointments at the General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital currently scheduled after 1:00 p.m. today will be rescheduled. Call the hospital line at 866.299.4234 for additional recorded information. The emergency room remains open.
The Commissary will be closing at 2 p.m. today. For further details, please call 573.596.0783.
The Main Exchange and the Mini Mall will be closing at 2 p.m. today. Call the Main Exchange for more information on hours for AAFES 573.329.2200.
The North and South shoppettes will close at 4 p.m. today.
