The Fort Leonard Wood Directorate of Emergency Services is slated to conduct Rescue Task Force Training April 3 and 4, with an active-shooter practical exercise the afternoon of Thursday, April 4, at Building 6501 (old Pershing School.) Individuals living or working in the vicinity of this area can expect to see a large police and fire presence from both on- and off-post agencies, hear simulated weapons and shouting from role players.
