FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. (Oct. 9, 2018) — The Maneuver Support Center of Excellence and Fort Leonard Wood has scheduled a Hispanic Heritage month observance Oct. 12 at Nutter Field House.
An open display of Hispanic Nations will be available for viewing beginning at 10 a.m.
The formal portion of the event, which is being hosted by the 14th Military Police Brigade, runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and is slated to include performances by the Waynesville High School Choir, the National Hispanic Heritage Month Proclamation, food samplings, and entertainment by Familias Hispanas Unidas and Zumba Fitness Group.
Chaplain (Capt.) Jose Rondon, 787th Military Police Battalion chaplain, is the featured guest speaker for this event.
Entertainment and displays will continue from 1 to 1:45 p.m.
