FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. (November 21, 2024) — Fort Leonard Wood garrison leaders have announced Thanksgiving holiday hours of operation for offices and installation services, including Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation, Army and Air Force Exchange Service and Defense Commissary Agency facilities.

The following will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28 and/or Friday, Nov. 29:

Garrison headquarters:

  • Equal Employment Office
  • Garrison Resource Management Office
  • Plans, Analysis and Integration Office

Directorate of Human Resources:

  • Administrative Services Division
  • ID Card Section

DHR Military Personnel Division:

  • Casualty Assistance Center (On Call)
  • Human Resource Transition Branch
  • Human Resource Services Branch
  • Human Resource Operations Branch, minimal manning Friday
  • Human Resource Management Branch, minimal manning Friday

Directorate of Emergency Services:

  • Police Administration Office

Logistics Readiness Center:

  • Central Issue Facility Permanent Party and Clothing Recovery Facility
  • Freight Office
  • Maintenance Division
  • Property Book Office

Additional closures include:

  • Mission and Installation Contracting Command
  • Religious Support Office
  • Staff Judge Advocate

All Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation facilities are closed Nov. 28 except for Davidson Fitness Center and Specker Gym, which are open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the Piney Valley Golf Course which will be available for honor play if the temperature is above 45 degrees. Golfers can put their money in the honor play box and walk the course – no carts will be available.

The following DFMWR facilities are closed Friday, Nov. 29:

  • Leisure Travel Services
  • Outdoor Adventure Center
  • Pershing Community Center
  • Morelli Heights Bar & Grill (closed Nov. 26 to 30)
  • Pippin Youth Center

The following DFMWR facilities will be open Friday, Nov. 29:

  • Army Community Service, 7:30 a.m. to 4 30 p.m.
  • Auto Skills Center, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Bruce C. Clarke Library, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Child and Youth Services
  • Daughter Bowling Center, 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Davidson Fitness Center, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • DFC pool lap swim, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Lake of the Ozarks Recreation Area, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Piney Valley Golf Course, honor play
  • Specker Gym, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Army and Air Force Exchange Service hours include:

  • Burger King closed Thursday, open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday
  • Charley’s closed Thursday, regular hours Friday
  • Class 6 closed Thursday, regular hours Friday
  • Furniture store closed Thursday, regular hours Friday
  • Main Exchange closed Thursday, open 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday
  • North Express open Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday
  • Popeyes closed Thursday, open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday
  • Qdoba closed Thursday, regular hours Friday
  • Slim Chickens closed Thursday, regular hours Friday
  • South Express closed Thursday, regular hours Friday
  • Starbucks closed Thursday, regular hours Friday

Commissary hours of operation will be:
