FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. (May 9, 2022) The United States Army Military Police School is scheduled to host a change of commandant ceremony at 8 a.m. May 13 at the Maneuver Support Center of Excellence Plaza, with an inclement weather location of Lincoln Hall Auditorium.

During the ceremony, Brig. Gen. Niave Knell will transfer responsibilities for the MP School and MP Corps Regiment to Col. Sarah Albrycht, who will become the school’s 52nd commandant and chief of the MP Corps Regiment.

Albrycht comes to Fort Leonard Wood after having most recently served as the deputy director of the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command in Quantico, Virginia, and deputy Provost Marshal General (OPMG), Pentagon.

Knell is slated to become the deputy commanding general (support), 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kansas.
