FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. (March 10, 2022) — Due to forecasted inclement weather and hazardous road conditions, there will be a three-hour delayed reporting for Friday, March 11, on Fort Leonard Wood for non-mission essential personnel — as previously identified by supervisors.
For example, personnel who normally report at 7:30 a.m., should now report at 10:30 a.m.; those who normally report at 8 a.m., will report at 11 a.m.
The reporting delay is issued for safety and allows road crews time to treat the roads.
Maximum teleworking is encouraged for Friday, March 11, if eligible and capable. Please ensure employees take required telework equipment home today.
Unscheduled leave policy is in effect for those individuals who are unable to report by their reporting time. Please check with your immediate supervisor for more details.
Child Development Centers and School Age Center are scheduled to open at 9 a.m. and close at their normally scheduled times.
MWR fitness centers will open at 9 a.m. All other MWR facilities will open at 10:30 a.m. or as regularly scheduled and will close at the normally scheduled times. Staffing could affect opening times. For more details, check the MWR web page at https://leonardwood.armymwr.com/.
Appointments at the General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital before 10 a.m. will be rescheduled. GLWACH’s Emergency Department remains open and operational. Harper COVID Screening Clinic will open at 10 a.m. For recorded information regarding GLWACH, call the appointment line at 1.866.299.4234.
AAFES Main Exchange and Mini-Mall and will open at 9 a.m. and close at their normally scheduled times.
The North and South shoppettes will open at 9 a.m. and close at their normally scheduled times.
The Commissary will open at 10 a.m. and close at their normally scheduled time.
Motorists are reminded to slow down due to icy road conditions and allow extra time to arrive at their destinations safely.
