The 139th Airlift Wing, Air National Guard unit from St. Joseph, Missouri, claimed the title of “Best in the Midwest” during the Air Force Ground Transportation Rodeo held at Fort Leonard Wood, May 20.

Teams representing ground transportation specialists at seven U.S. Air Force bases in the region converged on Fort Leonard Wood for the Best in the Midwest Ground Transportation Rodeo, Saturday.

Press Release 17-085 Air Force Detachment hosts truck rodeo on post

Teams representing ground transportation specialists at seven U.S. Air Force bases in the region converged on Fort Leonard Wood for the Best in the Midwest Ground Transportation Rodeo, Saturday.

Units from as far as Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota competed in an Air Force Instruction test, 4k forklift, 10k all-terrain forklift and 25-foot tractor trailer obstacle courses.
