Fort Leonard Wood’s 399th Army Band has been hard at work preparing for a joint concert with the St. Louis Symphony and U.S. Air Force Band of Mid-America scheduled for 7 p.m., Wednesday at Powell Hall in St. Louis.
This is the first time all three musical groups will perform on stage together, said 399th Army Band director, Chief Warrant Officer 2 Benjamin McMillan.

2016 Volunteer Recognition
Volunteers contribute more than 80,000 hours of service to Fort Leonard Wood for 2016
Community members gathered April 26 to celebrate the 2016 contributions of Fort Leonard Wood volunteers during the annual Installation Volunteer Awards Recognition ceremony.
Rhonda Hutsell, Army Volunteer Corps coordinator, signified the volunteer contributions by presenting a ceremonial check for more than $1.9 million, representing the 80,965 hours volunteers contributed to the installation in 2016.
No passes issued at Fort Leonard Wood’s East Gate
Press Release 17-073 No passes issued at Fort Leonard Woods East Gate
Beginning Monday, personnel entering Fort Leonard Wood’s East Gate, who require an installation access pass, will not be able to get one at the East Gate.
Installation passes may be issued at the South, Waggener (West) or Sverdrup (Main/North) gates for individuals requesting unescorted access to Fort Leonard Wood.
Fort Leonard Wood’s East Gate is slated to re-open Monday from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
