A change of command ceremony is scheduled for the 3rd Chemical Brigade commander, Col. Daryl Hood, at 9 a.m., Friday on the installation’s Gammon Field.
Col. Hood will relinquish command to Col. Dale Crockett. Hood is slated to take a position in Washington D.C., and Crockett comes to the brigade from the U.S. Army Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear School, where he served as the assistant commandant.
In the event of inclement weather, the change of command ceremony will be held in Nutter Field House on post.
Brig. Gen. James Raymer is slated to relinquish commandancy of the U.S. Army Engineer School in a ceremony scheduled at 9 a.m., Friday on the Maneuver Support Center of Excellence Plaza.

The bugle call sounded early Wednesday morning as thousands of Fort Leonard Wood Soldiers formed up for a division-style run on Gammon Field. The 5k run was held in commemoration of the U.S. Army’s 242nd Birthday.
Missouri Governor Eric Greitens joined Maj. Gen. Kent Savre, Maneuver Support Center of Excellence and Fort Leonard Wood commanding general, in providing remarks before the run kicked off at 5:30 a.m.
