A promotion ceremony for Col. Antonio Munera, U.S. Army Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear School commandant is planned for 9 a.m. May 30 on the Maneuver Support Center of Excellence Plaza, Fort Leonard Wood.

FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. (May 15, 2018) — A promotion ceremony for Col. Antonio Munera, 30th commandant of the U.S. Army Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear School, is set for 9 a.m. May 30 on the Maneuver Support Center of Excellence Plaza.

Munera will be promoted to the rank of brigadier general.

Munera’s career with the Army spans 26 years, with numerous leadership positions and command deployments including Operation Joint Guardian in Kosovo; Operation Iraqi Freedom; and Operation Inherent Resolve.

Prior to returning to Fort Leonard Wood in June 2017, Munera served at the Pentagon as a senior military advisor to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction.
