FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. (June 6, 2018) – As part of the 100th anniversary celebration of the U.S. Army Chemical Corps, the U.S. Army Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear School is gearing up to host the Best CBRN Warrior Competition from June 19-23 at Fort Leonard Wood.

Teams may register to participate in this event until 3 p.m. CST, June 15.

The purpose of the physically and mentally demanding competition, is to allow the Army’s elite active-duty, Reserve and National Guard CBRN Soldiers the chance to test their abilities performing CBRN tasks.

To be eligible to compete, teams must consist of two military personnel in the enlisted rank of specialist (E4) to sergeant first class (E7); warrant officer (WO1) or chief warrant officer two (CW2); or commissioned officers from second lieutenant to major. Both competitors must be either a CBRN officer, 74A; warrant officer, 740A; or specialist, 74D.

Teams will need to report to the 84th Chemical Battalion Headquarters June 19, no later than 3:15 p.m. CST, where they will in-process for the event that officially kicks off June 20.
