FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. (July 12, 2018) — The Soldier For Life-Transition Assistance Program is gearing up to host a Hiring Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 25 at the Soldier for Life Center, located at 13486 Replacement Avenue, in Building 470, here.
The Hiring Fair is free and open to the public and employers.
An estimated 40 employers are slated to be on hand for this event. Participants can expect employers from the fields of health care, trucking, retail sales, insurance, state government and law enforcement.
According to Alfredia Williams, SFL-TAP transition services specialist, job seekers are encouraged to bring copies of their resume and dress professionally for a job interview.
Service members, veterans, or spouses who need assistance getting a resume reviewed may contact the SFL-TAP Center, Williams said.
All employers must register in advance with the SFL-TAP Center by calling 573-596-7070 in order to participate. Job seekers do not need to register for this event.
