FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. (March 8, 2018) — The 35th Engineer Battalion will be hosting the annual Engineer Spouse’s Day event from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. April 17 here.

The day will feature a competitive, team-building experience that involves a closer look at Engineer vehicles, inert mine detection, door breaching with manual tools, an urban operations paintball exercise, rappelling, and more.

Attendees are encouraged, but not required, to complete all events. Attendees will also gain a greater understanding of the resources available to spouses within the Fort Leonard Wood community.

Military spouses of all services are welcome. Cost is $25 and includes a T-shirt and lunch. Pre-register by March 13 to guarantee T-shirt size of choice. The Engineer Spouse’s Day event runs in combination with Engineer Regimental Week, which will be observed April 16-20 at Fort Leonard Wood.
