FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. (March 25, 2026) – The U.S. Army Maneuver Support Center of Excellence Noncommissioned Officer Academy at Fort Leonard Wood is slated to host a change-of-responsibility ceremony at 9 a.m. March 30, in Nutter Field House.
During the ceremony, Command Sgt. Maj. Paul Desanto will transfer responsibilities to Command Sgt. Maj. John Caprio.
Desanto is retiring after nearly 29 years of exemplary service.
Caprio comes to Fort Leonard Wood from the 89th Military Police Brigade, at Fort Hood, Texas, where he served as the 89th Military Police Brigade’s Command Sgt. Maj.
The MSCoE NCOA educates, trains, and develops enlisted maneuver support leaders by effectively delivering high quality, innovative, relevant, and diverse professional military education in support of the Army’s current and future large scale combat operations.
