FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. (Feb. 2, 2021) — General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital is hosting a COVID-19 mass vaccination event from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. this Friday and Saturday at Nutter Field House as part of the installation’s second phase of the vaccination rollout plan. The goal of the event is to provide a wide distribution of the first dose of Pfizer vaccines to Fort Leonard Wood service members, Department of Defense civilians and contractors, and enrolled beneficiaries who are 16 years of age or older.

Appointments are required and can be made by visiting https://informatics-stage.health.mil/GLWACHCOVIDApp.

Please complete the COVID Vaccine form and bring it with you during your appointment; vaccine forms are available at: https://leonard-wood.tricare.mil/Health-Services/Preventive-Care/Immunizations/COVID-19-Vaccine-Program

IMPORTANT:

If you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last 90 days prior to Feb.5 or Feb. 6, you will be considered ineligible to receive the vaccine at this event.

If you have had another vaccine within 14 days of Feb. 5 or Feb. 6, you will be considered ineligible to receive the vaccine at this event.

The vaccine is only approved for those 16 years of age and older.
