FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. (Aug. ) – A relinquishment-of-command ceremony for Maj. Gen. Christopher Beck, commanding general of the Maneuver Support Center of Excellence and Fort Leonard Wood, is scheduled to take place Aug. 25 on Gammon Field.
Beck, who took command of the post May 19, 2023, will be retiring after 33 years of military service. A retirement ceremony recognizing Beck for his contributions is planned to take place immediately following the relinquishment-of-command ceremony.
