FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. (Dec. 18, 2021) – Fort Leonard Wood service members supported the Missouri Veterans Cemetery – Fort Leonard Wood with Wreaths Across America this morning featuring Maj. Gen. James Bonner, Maneuver Support Center of Excellence and Fort Leonard Wood commanding general, as the guest speaker. Wreaths Across America is a national wreath-laying ceremony that takes place at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 2,500 additional locations in the U.S., at sea and abroad.

Fort Leonard Wood is a thriving and prosperous installation that has evolved from a small basic training post 80 years ago to a premier Army Center of Excellence that trains nearly 80,000 military and civilians each year.

Fort Leonard Wood is home to the U.S Army Maneuver Support Center of Excellence and three U.S. Army schools: the U.S. Army Engineer School; U.S. Army Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear School; and the U.S. Army Military Police School.
