FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. (March 14, 2019) – The annual Engineer Family Readiness Group event is planned from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. April 9. Military spouses and service members are welcome to attend.

The day will feature a team-building experience that involves a closer look at all Engineer capabilities within the regiment, displays of engineer vehicles and more.

Family Readiness Groups, or FRGs, can provide an avenue to spouses for a better transition into military life, create friendships and provide insight into their service member’s occupation.

Attendees are encouraged, but not required, to complete all events. RSVP is requested by April 5 by calling Capt. Chasen Hardin, 35th Engineer Battalion, at 573.596.5371 or visit for registration and event details.

Registration is $20 and includes a shirt, lunch and all events. Pre-register early to guarantee shirt size of choice.

Participants can pay the fee online through the registration link, or at the 35th Engineer Battalion Headquarters, Building 6100, Room 105, or at the event.

Attendees must be 18 years or older to participate.

The Engineer Regiment will hold an FRG Day event, themed “Bridge the Gap,” from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. April 9 at TA250.
