FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. (July 29, 2024) — The U.S. Army Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear School is scheduled to host a change-of-commandant ceremony and a change-of-responsibility ceremony at 9 a.m. Aug. 1 on the Maneuver Support Center of Excellence plaza.

During the ceremony, Brig. Gen. W Bochat will transfer responsibilities of the USACBRNS and the Chemical Corps to Col. Alexander Lovasz.

Lovasz, is coming from Headquarters, Department of the Army, Deputy Chief of Staff-G8 (Full Dimension Protection), Washington, D.C.

Bochat will be the commanding general of the 20th Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and High-Yield Explosives (CBRNE) Command, in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.

Also during the ceremony, MSCoE and Fort Leonard Wood will farewell Command Sgt. Maj. Raymond Quitugua will welcome Command Sgt. Maj. David Henderson as the next USACBRNS Command Sgt. Maj.

Quitugua is departing to be the G-3/5/7 sergeant major for U.S. Army Installation Command at Joint Base San Antonio, Texas.

Henderson is currently the Command Sergeant Major for Dugway Proving Ground in Utah.
