FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo (April 9, 2019) – Forty-eight Sapper teams from across the Army’s Engineer Regiment are currently competing for the title of 2019 Best Sapper Team at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Teams have already faced two days of rigorous competition taking place across a multitude of engineer-related tasks.

The Best Sapper competition will conclude April 10 with an unknown distance run that includes various obstacles along the way. Teams are expected to be crossing the finish line between 10 a.m. and noon April 10 on Gammon Field.
