FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. (Nov. 16, 2018) — Fort Leonard Wood plans to hold an Assumption-of-Responsibility ceremony for Command Sgt. Maj. James Breckinridge at 10 a.m. Dec. 3 in Nutter Field House. Breckinridge will take on the responsibilities as the Maneuver Support Center of Excellence and Fort Leonard Wood command sergeant major, which is the post’s top enlisted leader.

Breckinridge is currently the regimental command sergeant major for the U.S. Army Military Police School here.

Breckinridge began his career at Fort McClellan, Alabama for One Station Unit Training, and his subsequent assignments include Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; Fort Hood and Fort Bliss, Texas; Fort Leavenworth, Kansas; and Grafenwoehr, Germany.
